Way to go MFLNRO Minister Steve Thompson ! In a very recent survey done by the Smithers Snowmobile Association to all of it's members, the SSA is supportive of the proposed establishment of a Wildlife Habitat Area in the Telkwa Mountains to aid in the recovery of the Telkwa Mountains Caribou Herd. 77% of the survey respondents indicated that predator control is a necessary next step in helping to recover the Telkwa herd. We applaud this decision by the current government and would like to see the program expand it's way up here.
